Try Quinoa for breakfast! Can be made ahead of time, this porridge comes together very quickly with just a few added ingredients.
2 cups prepared quinoa (made according to package directions), cooled or made night before
2 tablespoons cacao
3 tablespoons agave ( or can sub maple syrup)
pinch of salt
berries for topping
non dairy milk
In a medium sized bowl, add the cooled quinoa, agave, cacao and salt and stir until all is incorporated.
Alternatively, heat quinoa in microwaveable bowl and then add rest of the ingredients.
Add splash of non dairy milk of choice to make porridge creamy to desired texture.
Serve into 2 portions and top with variety of fresh berries of choice.
Taste for sweetness and adjust accordingly.
This porridge comes together fast if quinoa is made earlier but doesn’t have to be if no time restraints.
