We’re Catherine and Katy, two sisters who adopted a plant based diet after we both battled breast cancer and overcame it several years ago. We’re now a mission to spread the word about the benefits of a Whole Foods Plant Based Diet and living a vibrant lifestyle. Changing the way we eat and live is hard so hard we offer plenty of ways to incorporate transition one step at a time.

I am Catherine… a wife of 35 years, mom of 2 adult children, sister to 3 siblings, a daughter, a friend to many and breast cancer survivor. Fighting cancer changed my life’s purpose and now is my calling to help those in need. After 6 surgeries involving multiple complications and even sepsis, my challenges only made me stronger and more determined to live! Cancer taught me to cherish each day and find joy in the small things in life. I learned to be more mindful about anything and everything and to be more present in this world of constant distraction.
After completing my treatment, I wanted to know if there was something more I could possibly do to live a long and healthy life, of course, without cancer. This revelation led to becoming a certified Health and Wellness coach, a certified personal trainer and certified plant based nutritionist through ecornell and Dr. t. Colin Campbell. I didn’t want to leave anything out. And since my desire was to be as healthy on the inside as well as on the outside, I incorporate prayer/meditation and attend a vibrant church to strengthen my spirit. What my church has taught me about my worth and the unconditional love of God has become my foundation.
I love to cook delicious healthy food and teach others how to cook, especially more mindfully, read and learn, exercise outside, if possible, love all animals, Jesus, and enjoy meeting new friends.
My sister Katy and I have teamed up together to give you different life perspectives with one goal in mind… to allow breast cancer to change you in ways you could never possibly imagine and to allow it to become your blessing, just like it has for the two of us.
Although we promote a whole food plant-based diet,
we are not claiming to cure, diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.
We are only sharing our experiences for inspiration purposes.
Always consult your doctor before making extreme diet changes.
